Hi my name is Jo. As a Relate qualified counsellor I work with individuals, couples and families supporting them to gain a greater understanding of what is happening within their relationships. I have been working as a counsellor for the past nine years. Prior to that I have held senior positions in the NHS and Independent Health sector.

I believe that counselling is for the brave. For those people who are willing to face problems, explore and seek a greater understanding of both themselves and those close to them. My role is to is to support individuals, couples and families understand their responses to experiences and find ways of managing them, with the aim of achieving fulfilling relationships which in turn may lead to a more rewarding life.
